We offer a solution for jewellery shops to resell Sunroses. A client can buy and design the Sunrose via your shop. We take care of the production and ship the Sunrose to you. If you are interested in reselling Sunroses, please send us an email with.

Materials

A Sunrose is available in full bronze, silver or 14K gold.


Bronze
Bronze is a copper-tin alloy with a deep red color. It exhibits a subtle marbling effect and the silvery highlights give each piece their own unique character adding a vintage look. Bronze is safe to wear unless you have a nickel allergy. Like all bronze, it will tarnish over time and may need to be polished or cleaned.

Silver
Sterling silver (92.5% silver) is a high quality silver alloy commonly used in jewellery. It is skin safe. The outer shell of the Sunrose is polished. Silver will tarnish over time but can be polished so it will look like new again

Gold
Gold (14K) is our premium metal, perfect for everyday wear and timeless pieces. The outer shell of the Sunrose is polished.

Necklace

When you have finished the design of your Sunrose, you can add a matching necklace to your shopping cart if you want. The necklace is not included in the price of a Sunrose.

How to order

Every sunrose is specially made for the location and the moment of your choice. You can fill the Sunrose with your own personal hidden message.

The ordering process is as follows:
1. Choose the size and material.
2. Choose the location for the projection.
3. Select the date and time of the projection.
4. Compose the hidden message.

FAQ


Projection

No, this is normally not possible. The projection will be not sharp, because the rays of the sun are practically parallel. With strong focussed lamp at two meters distance, you could give it a try.


For the best result, yes. But if you cannot wait, it is possible to take the Sunrose into the sun and try to find the correct angle.


It is inside a circle on the shell of the Sunrose.


You can use a compass, a compass-app, or even just a smartphone. If you have a map you can also turn the map's position: turn the map until a road on the map is parallel to the road in real life. Be sure to have it in the right direction. Then the north of the map points north.


Design and edit projected image

When the sun is not high enough, for example near sunrise or sunset, the projection will be very stretched and unsharp. When the sun is too high, the projection will be beneath the Sunrose and therefore not visible.


The characters and icons play a key role in the construction of the Sunrose. It has to be strong enough. Lower case letters and punctuation cannot carry that strength.


This is to make the Sunrose strong enough. If you add more character and icons in the empty spaces, these additional lines will disappear.


This is not possible, yet. But please let us know what you would prefer, as this helps us with developing next steps.

Materials

The Sunroses are 3D printed in a kind of wax. Then a plaster mould is made around it and the wax is melted out. Then the liquid metal is poured into the plaster.

Shipping and returns

Shipping time
The shipping time of a Sunrose depends on the size and material you have chosen with a maximum of 15 working days. We need this time because the production process involves many steps: producing the original - making the mould - casting - removing the mould - finishing and preparing for transport. We show the expected shipping date before checkout.

Shipping method
Sunrose is delivered by only the most reputable delivery companies, directly to your door. Our goal is to provide you with a first-class service. Depending on the delivery address we'll choose the most efficient courier.

Shipping costs
Shipping is free for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Italy.

Return policy
Sunroses are fully personalized. When there are no production faults, Sunroses cannot be accepted for return. However, we want everybody to be satisfied. So, in all cases, please let us know so we can find a solution.

Other items on our website (necklaces and other accessories) can be returned within 14 days after receiving. If we receive them in good condition, we refund these items.
